Springtime Beauties...

Spent some time this past beautiful weekend visiting an old springtime friend... the gorgeous Lilic bush a few streets over...{shhhh!}

I don't know who owns the abandoned house lot but since they've torn down the house, the lilac bush seems to have flourished!

we came home with armloads....now there are bouquets all over the house...

a few tucked in with the herbs on the kitchen windowsill...

on the mantle....

in the dining room....

the bathroom...

the porch windowsill....

and of course... in my studio!
Don't worry...we left a few on the bush for the bees!!

for Robin of Fonville Farm and her family.

I remember when she shared the news before Christmas...

she was pregnant and so excited and happy. Baby F was due in June.
The loss of a child is the most painful.
Please send her your love and prayers.

I know her pain and it's not going to be an easy road ahead.
