Home again, Home again jiggety-jig!

Home from an awesome week at the beach...I didn't want to leave, seriously. This was our 6th summer vacation here...it's always a fabulous week.
The Outer Banks is so beautiful...if you've never been I highly recommend it!

A few, (ok a bunch) of pictures to share...

We started with...

an old man's birthday.....took the party down to the beach too!

morning coffee on the beach...

it tastes soooo much better here!!

beautiful houses on (and some 'in') the water!

then there were the crabs...so much fun chasing these around the beach at night, this guys watching me drink coffee at sunrise...and I'm watching him!

They tell me this is a blast...running down Jockeys Ridge

( the largest natural sand dune on the East Coast)

or somersaulting down...I just took their word for it!

Our last night....group photo on the pier!

Mikes Mom & Dad, his brother Joel & wife Sandy, their kids, Kaylee, MacKenzie and Jay and my Hannah

me & the old man:)

....um, I'm in a sea of blondes!

I didn't even know this till I looked at the picture! lol!

Then we came home to this.....

Piff had 4 kittens!!

Oh my gosh they are soooo cute...what on earth am I going to do with them????

My favorite place to vacation is the Outer Banks and our kids love to run the dunes at Jockey's Ridge. We aren't going this year so it was extra fun to see your photos. And the kittens.......so sweet!

I look so nice, and you seemed to have such a wonderful time. Our families all met for a family reunion on Atlantic beach 3 years ago and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your beach pictures.

Oh, those kittens are so precious! I want them :) Hope you get marvelous homes for all of them. Piff had them all by herself?! God bless the Mommy-kitties.

Hi Paula Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this morning. Oh I could smell the sea air and feel the spray on my face. I hear the sea gulls crying over head and my goodness the sand felt so great between my toes.

I love it that you are amongst the blondes in your picture. In my family, I am amongst all the auburn heads. Nobody seems to know where I came from. Two peas in a pod we are. I love it.

Your trip was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing sweet friend. I am still under lockdown here at home. I went back to the doctor on Friday, but after the ear, nose and throat doctor looked around they decided I could not be outside now until July 19th. Not only that I can't talk either. I sat and cried. I so want to go outside. 2 1/2 months of being locked inside is TO much.

You have taken me to the beach today. I so loved it. Your pictures made it so real for me. Thank you sweet friend. I enjoyed my trip emmensely.

Have a gorgeous day sweet friend. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

It looks like you all had the best time ever. Not hard to believe that you didn't want to come home. Everyday brought something new and wonderful. What a perfect get a way. And, it even gets better when you return to little furry balls of joy and love. What a fantastic surprise. Enjoy those little kittens, they, like the rest of us grow up so fast. Be well and I love it when you visit, thankyou so much, Char

Paula - thank you for sharing your wonderful vacation with us all! Oh....to be by the seaside and never leave.....It must'ave been so difficult for you to have to return to reality....but to come home to those adorable little kittens! What fun! :) If I lived closer, I'd take them all. Soooo cute! Hmmm...but that would bring me to 7 cats in the house. Don't think hubby would go for that. lol!

Anyway, glad you're safely back home with all of those wonderful memories!

The Outer Banks is a beautiful place to go for vacation. We've been there before, and even took the ferry around, won't do that again, at least not without some food and water!! The water is beautiful there too. Glad you had a good time.

Hi Paula~ ~ ~I've never been to the Outer Banks but a beach anywhere is great as far as I'm concerned. I would love to head to your neck of the woods before the summer is out. Love Rehoboth!
Maybe the kittys can pose for you and you can do a sign with kittens the the old fashioned post cards. I always love the ones with kittens on them.

Isn't is always a bit sad when vaca is over, Paula? Never been to OBX. Maybe some day. Sounds like you all had a fantastic time. And those kittens . . . I would love to take one off your hands. Shhh . . . don't tell Hubby, though, he's not a cat lover at all.

Hi Paula,
What fun! I was just saying to Gary yesterday how I would love to rent a beach house. Now for sure we must!. Happy Birthday to hubby, he's still a baby and looking GOOD! LOL, I'm 54 and let me tell you the 50's are fun and carefree. Tell him to enjoy for me!
I'll be sending you a order note soon. I have a few sign in mind.
Take care and have a great week,
Big hugs my friend, Elizabeth

Paula, what adorable kittens. Just stand outside of Walmart with them when they are old enough and give them away. I have been to the Outer Banks when I was a child, but would love to go back now.
