Hello

sweet friends!
...just stopping in to say hello & let you know I'm still here!

I just realized I hadn't posted in over a week..??? hmmm...
Well, that was one fast week!
I've been busy as a beaver here, and today will be no different.
We had a wild and windy storm blow through the state yesterday and look what it did to my beautiful wisteria!

~it's supposed to be up on the garage and then it grows over the lean-to and some even under the lean-to.....

I had lights intertwined in it and it was one of my favorite places to sit- back under the lean-to with the garden in full view...
later when my son the... monkey in the tree with the chainsaw
arborist get's home, we'll try to save it!

Hope everyone has a beautiful fall like weekend!

Good Morning Paula Sweetie...
As always I am so thrilled to see you post, but sadly today you are posting a loss. Oh sweetie I am so sorry the wind has damaged one of your safe havens from the world. You know sometimes it just seems so unfair. We get something to a place where we just love it so much in the garden and then one of these fierce winds come along and tear it to pieces.

Well maybe DS can climb on up there, and save a portion of it anyway. I hope so, as I know it made you happy.

Try to have a beautiful weekend sweet friend. I pray there is no more wind and rain in your forecast, but we could sure use a little rain here in the desert. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

Happy Friday Paula! I let over a week go by without posting, I felt terrible but time sure does get away from us doesn't it?

I'm sorry about your plant:( But can you please send some cold weather my way? I'm so tired of the heat, ready for some clouds and rain!

Have a lovely weekend!

I'm hoping for a nice weekend, Paula! We got that storm yesterday AND today! I've been watching my stuff to make sure nothing is breaking off in the wind.

We did have ourselves some wind, didn't we? Fear not - there is no amount of knocking about that can kill Wisteria. Your son will have it back on its feet in no time.

Ahem....women using the term 'busy as a beaver' may not be making the most enlightened choice of words. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I heard about all the storms over by you, Paula. You've been getting dumped on, haven't you? Wow. Don't worry about your wisteria. Those things are extremely hardy and will pop back in no time! Glad you made it through the wild weather okay! :)

Hi Paula~ ~Nasty storms here too. Just a few branchs down but all the black walnuts are now on the ground. No fear of walking in the lawn and getting a bump on the head from one! I keep checking out your shop and one sign is prettier than the next. You do a wonderful job.

Oh no! at least you have a wisteria, I've tried for years to grow one, and they keep dying on me! No don't say it, I already know!
I let my posts go for a week, (brain dead), and then I start posting a few times a week!

be well,
Lisa

So good to see you yet again. I have no doubt you are a very busy girl. I would love a Wisteria, but not in the desert, it would dry up poor thing.
We had a huge thunder storm here last night but no damage, at least in our neighborhood. There were two tornadoes that touched down in the mountains. The U.S is having some very strange weather, aren't we, Char
