the long wait is over...the lilacs are blooming!first... I took their photo... ... they were all smiles for me....then... I picked them!.... they're still smiling!
Sooooo beautiful, Paula!!! Isn't that fragrance intoxicating??? ♥ I can hardly wait til mine blooms. We have 5 of them in white, pink, and lavender! Have a blessed Easter, my friend!
Lilacs are SO beautiful and I love the smell of them but they don't grow well in South Texas. I guess it's too hot! We have other pretty flowers, but those lilacs are just gorgeous. I just popped in your blog and really am enjoying it. Hope you pop in and see me sometime. Happy Spring Ya'll from Houston, TX
Ah, I'm smiling too, and I can smell them! Paula, these are my favorite flowers! Always have been! I don't have a lilac bush, but I've been trying to start plantings from my neighbors, is that stealing?
They must smell wonderful in your house, Paula! I've always wanted a lilac bush. My Mom had one years ago and the smell was just intoxicating.
