In the garden...

Spent alot of time in the garden this weekend....extremely hot and humid and lot's of labor intensive work paid off with a little surprise....
I so wanted this years vegetable garden to be more aesethically pleasing. So....
my darling husband created these paths for me (I helped too but it was really his design!). I was tickled pink with his idea! After spending all day in the dirt we went in for showers, dinner and then came back out after dusk to relax and view the garden...what a treat to see the pavers illuminated by the moonlight!
I loved it!...of course I ran and got my camera...
I had to use a flash to get a decent photo but I'll tell you, with just some candlelight and moonlight this was a stunning view!
In my email this morning ...another surprise!
My interview with Dionne of City of Dionne was published in
Meylah! (thanks Dionne!)
If you're not familiar with Meylah it's a wonderful site devoted to building an online creative community for individuals to learn, share and support each other’s business growth online. I get their emails each morning and they are always full of great tips...very insightful info, if you have an online business ,you need to check it out!
Happy Monday everyone!!

This is beautiful! And what a great idea to use pavers, love it! It has been horribly hot and humid here too, I love summer, but I would not be upset if the humidity went away!

Great photos!

Oh that is just beautiful! What a labor of love and it sure paid off! I wish I had a garden. The dog took over what little bit I had!

Ohhhh darling Paula, you have no idea how much I love my sign!!! I was born in England and lavender is a scent that's near and dear to my heart. I love your idea of growing some real lavender, I think I'm going to try! I can see my lovely sign from the kitchen when I'm cooking and I just say ahhhhhhhh, life is good:) Thank you for visiting my blog today:)
