Welcome to Stephanie's Wedding Blog party! I'm so happy to share and relive my wedding with you...24.5 years ago...I felt like a queen for a day!
~the church~
St. Mary's in North Attleboro, Mass... the same church where my parents were married and I was baptized....
one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen...the architecture is stunning!
I wore my mom's wedding dress, and carried an exact replica of her gorgeous bouquet...to me it was perfection, how could you improve on perfection?!
from the newspaper...
our photographer captured the look on our faces after the ceremony... when they opened the church doors and we saw how much snow was falling.... priceless!

even 25 years ago I was in love with vintage.... my going away 'outfit' ... an antique Dior sequin sweater in creamy white, purchased at a thrift store near my college for $2.50, and yes I wore it at my wedding!... oh how I loved that sweater and still do!
I'm off to paint wedding signs today.... Ryan and Jena's sign is next up...their big day is fast approaching!!
Thanks to Stephanie of Angelic Accents for hosting this fabulous wedding party!!!

Oh Paula...what a beautiful wedding! My late husband and I got married in the cathedral in downtown Grand Rapids. The church in your pictures remind me of that day.

How nice that you wore your mom's gown, and replicated her flowers.

Gorgeous, Paula! I adore the way the paper included the description of your dress.....like days of yore.....or was that the description of the dress when your mom wore it? Either way - awesome!
Dear Paula, thanks so much for joining us at the Wedding Blog Party! It just wouldn't have been a party without you. I think it is amazing that you were married in the same church as your parents and where you were also baptized. And such a glorious church, too. Absolutley amazing architecture. You and hubby made such a handsome couple. And I love your wedding gown and that it was your mother's. Such a nice touch adding the piece from the newspaper describing it!! Think anyone else in your family will wear it? It is such a classic, timeless design. Wasn't it just magical that it snowed on your wedding day! Love the looks on your faces! Your new wedding sign is going to make someone very happy!
My out of town relatives are gone now, and I'm so enjoying all my friend's beautiful wedding posts!
Big TX Hugs,

Wow, I just found your blog from a Romantic Homes magazine and guess what?? I live in Plainville ;) I was shocked to see the postcard of St Mary's church, how many times I have passed it doing my daily errands or back in my Real Estate days running up and down South Washington St to show homes.
Small world, huh?
